The Top 6 Places Clutter Hides In Your Home

My current pet hate is the speed at which my home can transform from clean and tidy to a barely hygenic pit of despair.

I've timed it, I reckon I have seen it happen in under half an hour.... especially if someone has helpfully opened the WRONG DRAWER!

In an effort to extend my moments of household 'oasis bliss' to weeks on end (a girl can dream;) I have hunted down and DESTROYED the clutter nests in my house.

I have defused these messy spaces & put a hard stop on their ability to explode all over my house at the least provocation.

Check these areas in your home if like me, you are tired of the endless merry go round of tidying.

Now I know, no amount of pristine surfaces and emptied out fridges will guarantee you a permanently clean home.

What they will do however, is buy you time! Time to sit on the couch with a book in hand, every so often glancing up at the clutter free book shelf from where you plucked it and actually, relax.

For me, that is what this is all about, gradually transforming my home from a visual list of 'jobs to do', to an actual sanctuary where I can be still and calm and at peace.
